Oppo’s sub-brand Realme announced that it’ll be unveiling the first ever Helio P70 chipset-based device in the country and globally. The smartphone will be launched in India in the first half of December.
Realme India CEO, Madhav Seth said that Realme Helio P70-powered device will be an all-together new device and not a successor to the existing Realme 2 or 2 Pro. Helio P70 adds 100MHz to the clock speeds of the four big Cortex-A73 cores and also the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It further claims about 10-30% faster AI performance and improved camera hardware
The octa-core Helio P70 relies on 12nm FinFET process and comes with a multi-core APU (AI processing unit) clocked at 525MHz.
